Hunter

The Marlborough Hunter is based on a 3.5T Renault Master or Vauxhall Movano chassis. Furthermore, all models have a 2.3L Turbo Diesel engine, power steering and 6 speed gearbox. As a result, carrying capacity is around 1,100 kg depending on the exact finish of the box.

Body

Carries 2 horses rear facing. Built with strong, lightweight ecofont panels. Wide and very low ramp, assisted by 2 gas struts. In addition, a ramp buzzer is fitted. One piece moulded Luton and side collars. Moulded rear wheel arches. Strong rear bumper made of heavy duty aluminium checker plate. Furthermore, front and rear high level marker lights and a rear high level indicator are fitted. Three external tie rings. One colour paint and graphics come as standard.

Horse Compartment Features

Build includes:

Stainless steel full length padded partition with several heights and stall widths available. In addition, the build includes 2 horse windows and a further ventilation window. A window from cab to horse area is also provided. 2 internal lights and red travelling light. Reinforced bulkhead and sidewall. Choice of 6mm or 10mm heavy duty rubber matting over waterproof flooring, with drainage holes. Rubber matting moreover covers the joint between ramp and the horse area.

Jockey door to grooms area. Breast bar 4’6″ high with solid bulkhead below. Furthermore, EVA rubber protection covers the horse area to a height of 4′. Two tie rings and 2 haynet rings therefore come as standard. Three opening glass windows and two 4-way opening roof ventilators are additionally included. In addition, an internal light is fitted over the ramp. Options for additional extras are also available on request.

Rear Compartment

Full length wardrobe/tack locker. Upholstered seating. Rubber covered floor. Lightweight fibreglass wheel boxes. Wide rear opening door. Internal light. Additionally, saddle poles and bridle hooks come fitted. A 12V plug socket is also provided.

Cab

Three seat cab with sliding window to horse compartment. A safety switch consequently controls rear interior lighting. Media system included. Remote door control key. Factory fitted Thatchams immobilizer. Spacious door pockets and lockable glove compartment.

Uprating to 3.9T

The vehicle can be uprated to 3.9T which consequently increases the carrying capacity to approximately 1,500 kg.
