Painting
Vehicles are painted with metallic paint, in a colour of your choice, chosen from the current range of colours offered by Range Rover. We sign write “Horses” on the front and rear of the vehicle. If you require, additional sign-writing, the box painted in other colours, or to a different design, we can arrange for this to be done and will let you know the extra cost beforehand.
Delivery
We can arrange delivery, quoting the cost beforehand.
Warranty
The body has a 12-month warranty. New vehicles carry the makers’ full warranty, currently 3 years or 100,000 miles.
Servicing
Vehicles require an oil service every 12,000 miles and a full service every 32,000 miles. The timing belt, brake fluid and coolant need changing every 5 years or 72,000 miles. 2010 and later boxes do not require the timing belt changing. Your box will be serviced before you receive it.
Up-rating to 3.5T
The vehicle can be up-rated to 3.9T. This increases the carrying capacity by 400 kg to approximately 1,500 kg. This would then entail the annual MOT being done at a Goods Testing Station. Also, anyone passing their driving test after 1 January 1997 will not be able to drive the vehicle unless they take and pass the C1 Driving Test.
Price
Prices quoted are ex-factory at Preston. The road tax is not included. We will arrange for the box to be taxed before collection or delivery if asked.
Ordering
We require a deposit of £1,000 when ordering. If we do not have a suitable vehicle in stock, we will locate a vehicle to match your requirements. When we have your vehicle and before building your box, we will require a second deposit payment of 33% of the total build cost. The final balance is payable prior to collection/delivery.
Keys
Not all used vehicles have 2 sets of ignition keys. You can purchase a second set, if required, from the vehicle manufacturers. We provide 2 sets of keys for the ramp, rear door and lockers.
MOT
All vehicles will have a new 12 months MOT
Immobiliser
All vehicles have a Renault / Vauxhall factory fitted immobiliser.
Radio
A modern Radio/CD Player is fitted as standard.
New Shape 2010 & later
Vehicles manufactured after 2010 are fitted with electric mirrors, electric windows, and in some cases satellite navigation systems.
