We have earned a reputation for building long lasting, quality horse boxes, this has resulted in high second-hand values. A used Marlborough is a very much sought after horsebox.

The first Renault Master conversion was manufactured by us in 1996 and the horsebox was later featured in the Daily Telegraph as 'Box of the Year.'

Marlborough now export to New Zealand, South Africa and most European countries. Marlborough Hunters are used by one of New Zealand's leading show jumpers and one of their leading dressage riders.

  Just bought my third Marlborough Sport from Geraldine at Marlborough. A superb, quality build. Geraldine is excellent to deal with, nothing is too much trouble and communication is quick is easy. A company that takes real pride in their work, highly recommended.

  I bought a new Marlborough 3.5T conversion via a private seller due a change in their circumstances, earlier this year. I contacted Geraldine at Marlborough to check they had done the conversion and answer a number of queries I had.
She was very helpful and forthcoming. She has continued to pffer support and reassured me I have the remainder of the 12 month warranty post completion.
I've done half a dozen trips in the box now and love it.
After some initial loading drama, not due to the box (except maybe the brand new smell), my horse has started loading beautifully.
I'm really happy with the build quality and I feel confident I could contact Marlborough if I had any issues and they'd deal with it professionally and efficiently.
The build has nice touches and is well thought out. I personally like the lack of external graphics, it looks classy and smart.
Based on my experience so far, I'd certainly recommend Marlborough boxes.

  I am not one who normally goes on line to promote a business but I have to say I am very impressed with Marlborough Horseboxes.

I bought one of their boxes 2nd hand a few years ago. It had been a self drive hire vehicle since it had been converted, so it was likely to have been subject to frequent power washing and I was a bit concerned about the ramp strength, with my chunky mare's tendancy to admire the view from there before loading and I felt there were a couple of spots in the floor that were a little soft. They checked it over and assured me the box was still safe but agreed the floor would benefit from replacement.

They were really helpful and not at all pushy. Although some of my concerns were overkill, in the end I have a box that has had an almost complete rebuild of the horse area, a beefed up ramp and extra strengthening to the bulk head and side wall to bring it up to the spec used on their new builds. I was sent pics and they were helpful throughout, offering advice and options (not just telling me I had to have stuff done). On top of that they let me pick up and drop off in the evening (when I had lifts available) and did it all in 3 days midweek, so no need to miss any shows.

Typically both horses went lame during the rebuild 🫣 but at least I know there chariot is safe. Thank you

  I recently bought a Marlborough Horsebox through a private seller, I spoke with Geraldine before I bought said Horsebox and she went above & beyond to tell me what she could about the conversion. I have since been back to have the partition re padded and all I can say is what lovely helpful people Marlborough horsebox’s are to deal with would definitely recommend

  I have recently bought a Marlborough Hunter, and am absolutely delighted with it.  The design has been so well thought out - for both human and horse! - and it is lovely to drive.  I would definitely recommend the Marlborough Hunter.

  Marlborough Horsesboxes built a 3.5t horsebox for me to my specifications based on their Hunter box in 2019. Geraldine and the team at Marlborough were an absolute joy to deal with. The horsebox was built exactly how we had agreed and to a very high standard and on time. The chassis they found for me was excellent and has passed it's MOT's  and servicing's without issues. I have this year retired from competitive sport and put my horsebox up for sale and it was snapped up the next day. The new owners are over the moon with it.

  A superb friendly helpful service from people who know the product. I have the Marlborough Sport and cannot thank Geraldine enough for all the support and help in finding the donor van to choosing the colour through the process of the build and to meeting the fantastic team who made it all possible when we collected our new build.   I can’t rate this company enough!
We have had one of their wonderful Lorries for over 8 years now and can’t fault it.
Horses travel well in it, it’s lovely to drive.
The company is so helpful and prompt at getting back to me regarding any queries
I have had after our purchase.
Needing a new hydraulic arm for the ramp,what paint colour it is, new catches for the ramp.
